June 12 & 13 are full of garden events here in the Hudson Valley and across the country. Locally we have the first annual Beacon Composts tour of local city gardens, gardeners and their associated compost piles(who doesn’t love good compost).
This weekend has a full slate of private gardens open for the Garden Conservancies Open Garden Days tours. A $5 entry fee lets you visit gardens large and small all over the USA. Click here for the list. There will also be gardens open the other weekend in June. Please check their website for gardens to visit near you!
This gardener and Foxgloves will be attending the Hidden Garden Tour in Westport, CT. A benefit for the Historical Society, the organisers always have a special selection of sites to stroll through, as well as a vibrant marketplace with a selection of high quality goods for sale.
Lets all hope for good weather, not too hot, not too cold, not too wet…Have FUN!
